One model year before the Accord’s complete redesign for 2018, the 2017 models are still undeniably good cars. Bearing the nameplate’s longstanding status as one of the country’s top sellers, the 2017 Accord gives you plenty of what you want at a lower price than what you’d pay for a brand-new model. Family-friendly features, a comfortable ride, a tech-savvy array of driver-assistance and safety elements, and the Accord’s impressive fuel efficiency and well-appointed interior are all present and accounted for in the 2017 models. And with six trims to choose from—the LX, Sport, Sport SE (new for the 2017 lineup), EX, EX-L, and Touring—you’re sure to find the trim that has the right combination of features and capabilities for you.
As a car that often serves as the family commuter, safety is a prime consideration in the Accord. In the 2017 model year, the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistance features is either standard or available depending on the trim you choose—with the exception of the Sport SE—and offers such desirable features as collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Keeping everyone comfortable, entertained, and happy no matter how long your journey won’t be an issue in the 2017 Accord, either: With standard features like dual-zone automatic climate control, a USB port, and Bluetooth technology,* as well as optional features including Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration, HD Radio, and a seven-speaker premium audio system, the Accord has something for everyone.
